Ever seen a pretty young girl, married to a rich bald old man?

Today i witnessed a 50-year-old-man kissing a 20-year-old-girl

Sounds pretty screwed up, seems pretty screwed up

But when you really see it for yourself you realize how disgusting reality is

This is a twisted era, whereby the worth of a man is judge by the size of his wallet and that the poor are mocked instead of the sinful.

Someone once told me that girls should choose to marry a rich man whom she can live with, rather than a poor man whom she cannot live without. This kind of thought scares me. They say you ain't gonna get any honey without money, so what's the big surprise?

Now this is what I'm wonder, and this is what I'm asking - Why do a huge portion of women choose to marry a rich man, rather than aiming to become capable and successful by their own effort?
Since the introduction of "girl power" by the Spices Girls, every female around you began having opinions about everything all of a sudden. To top it off, they advocate sexual equality claiming that they are as capable as men and blah blah blah...

These women, are absolute hypocrites, their "equality" is a lie! They want to have equal rights, equal opportunities, equal respect, but superior treatment from their husbands and the society.

I strongly agree on sexual equality, but I mean EQUALITY, not superiority.

Money causes lot of argument in marriage or relationship. The usual quarrel involves either of the following 2 scenarios:-
1- Man tries to save money and woman calls him stingy, saying that he values money over her.
2- Man spends too much money and woman scolds him for not knowing how to control his finances.

I don't know how this all began but men are always expected to be the one who's paying the bills, yet So whatever it is, it seems that we males are at the losing end when it comes to the financial battle in relationships.Sometimes (or rather a lot of times) I think that the world is a pretty screwed up place. In the clubs, guys buy girls drinks to strike a conversation and stuff. But what's really going on in their heads? Well seeing the world from a negative point of view, I think this is an era where good people are rare while assholes are all around.

A lot of guys try to impress girls by buying them drinks and showing off their cars, while a lot of girls knows that guys want them and that's why they try to squeeze every cent out of men. I ain't saying everyone's like that, but the reality is that this seems to be the mindset of many.

Which girls dare to proclaim that they have never made their boyfriends foot their shopping bills or bring them to some expensive restaurant?

The truth is, men try to impress the ladies with their money, in hope of getting the pussy, while women knows that they have the pussy, use it to their advantage to get the guys' money. So are men trying to use money to get the pussy, or are women using the pussy to get the money? Sometimes men succeed in getting lucky, while other times women succeed in not getting laid.

So who's cheating who? Or maybe everyone's cheating one another? These questions are so confusing that they make me sick.

My philosophical thoughts would probably turn the ladies off. But then again, I ain't planning on hooking up any. Where are the intellectual people? This world is so fucked...

In this era where the righteous are being shunned and mocked while the sinful are being praised or even worshiped, I am a social outcast.

Many enjoyed school - the fun, the girls, skipping school and bullying that pathetic kid who was branded an outcast, a loser. These so-called losers actually often grow up to become more successful people than many will ever be.

Now, so who are the popular ones in school? The hardworking? The righteous? The thinker? No, it's usually the guys who are perceived as "fun" - spending more time making out with girls, pushing others around and those who don't think about life.

Personally, I was an outcast. And in a way, I still am.

School was a nightmare for me and it still is. I was constantly being picked on.Thus, having to "fit in" or fufil the status quo i had to do things i didn't want to, because I spent more time thinking about bigger issues in life rather than fun, I was branded a nerd (though my academic results said otherwise). In fact, I had no interest in what the most youngsters would perceive as having fun, i don't game much.I'm not interested in partying at clubs, I don't know what the hell is so interesting about impressing the girls and most of all, I was like a caveman living in the wrong era who knew shit about what was "in" the teenage scene.

Well, but what happens to these "losers" when they grow up? What usually follow are career, nice personality and iron-will achieved from all these years of hardship. Look around you, remember that pathetic little kid who was bullied in school? Where is he now? And then that Mr. popular alpha male?

So my friends, listen up! I know school sucks, I've been there myself. But trust me, when you get over it, it's gonna be a whole lot better.

A Singapore PR, is a citizen of a foreign country who possess the right to reside in Singapore permanently. So what can't an individual who's residing in Singapore be loyal and love his/her own country? Just because living in Singapore, does not mean one needs to be loyal to this country.

Trust me, as a PR, we are not given a lot of privileges the locals get such as education subsidies, ERS, GST subsidy, etc.. But when it comes to shitty commitments like CPF and NS, we are expected to do the same!

People love to say "if you don't like it here, go back to your country", "at least we are better" or something along that line. Well it may be funny to brush off a foreigner by these impolite statements, but are we really addressing to the social problem here?

Xenophobia breeds misunderstanding. Misunderstandings breeds discrimination and discrimination in turn, breeds hatred.

Obtained sprained my ankle while chasing the bus there

At about 1.50am reached the mrt station

Last train leaves at 2am

And i saw the sign saying departing

so was minding my own business and walking towards track

It's been awhile since i last blogged

And since I'm just stoning in front of the computer i decided to occupy myself >.<

Life's bit monotonous these days

Since Its nights after nights of slides preparation,lab reports,

Seems like i lost interest in lots of things recently

Feeling so empty how i wish Life is just a vase

And someone would come along and fill it up

So i wouldn't be feeling so bored

Puddles are

people who cannot access the imaginative, creative, understanding, emotional part of their brain. Shallow people who are easily brainwashed by the media, they can't think for themselves. They serve no purpose to this earth. Their future holds long lines of angry customers that want their hamburger, and the words "we love to see you smile". They cannot see the little things and therefore cannot handle 3rd degree thoughts and they rarely think beyond 10 secs and outside of their mental capability which makes them shallow

We've all met shallow individuals. They seem to have no depth, no underlying thought processes, no dedication, or no concern for others' well-being. They seem to skim along the surface of life, focusing mainly on themselves, their immediate comforts, their wishes and desires and how to obtain them.

"That sports car is stylish, expensive and it matches the color of my eyes. I want it."

They use other people as a means to accomplish their desires, or as window-dressing to enhance their own importance. "This is my husband, the lawyer. He's going to buy me that new sports car. You know, the one that matches my eyes."

Why are they like that?

Some actually have a low I.Q. This is the only way they are capable of relating to the world around them. They will impress others as being shallow individuals until the day they die.

Others can claim no such ready excuse. They were thoroughly spoiled as children. Their parents led them to believe they were the center of the universe and so, they still feel entitled to the biggest and the best of everything. They have grown up physically, but not emotionally. The universe, in their eyes, still revolves around them.

If they were fortunate enough to spend their teen-age years as attractive, well-off, youngsters able to buy attention and friends, while still being the apple of their parents' eye, the delusion of superiority hovered over them into adulthood. However, sooner or later, most of these shallow, self-centered people are in for a rude awakening.

It may not be immediate but consider this

After marriage, when a spouse tires of taking orders and of waiting on them hand and foot, they will encounter reality with a crash that will soon topple their comfortable world. The spoiled darlings will have to begin taking someone else's needs and wishes into consideration or their married life will become extremely unpleasant.

In the normal course of events, when a family comes along, the necessity of cooking, cleaning and changing soiled nappies will remove any illusions of superiority that may have been lingering. It is impossible to be shallow and self-absorbed and still be an effective parent.

This must be some sort of a consensus that was instilled among individuals born in the internet generation

I believe that another reason people behave in a shallow manner is that those who do not have much to offer in the way of personality or intellect learn only too quickly that in certain social contexts behaving in a shallow manner can prove an effective social crutch. It can help avoid embarrassing lulls in conversation and ensure that no one takes them too seriously. People with agendas or substance are not challenged by them and so therefore do not feel threatened.

I think think that shallow people are very likely to be unintelligent and therefore pretty happy in their oblivious lives. They see material things as of great importance which ultimately makes them 'shallow', it really makes me wonder how these people actually think without deep, real thoughts. I think upbringing and social factors make them 'shallow' and yes, they're happy (and stupid).

A nice trade-off?

Values in this country are disappearing

I am convinced that the reason most shallow people behave the way they do is that at some point in their lives their behavior has been reinforced as cute, amusing or entertaining. The type of people who do this reinforcing are generally people who do not value others for their intelligence, insight or empathy and instead prefer to surround themselves with superficial, small-minded and egocentric air-heads in an attempt to inflate their own feelings of self-worth.

But i guess all of us are shallow. Yes, everyone of us

We affect to sneer at others who, according to ourselves, lack depth. We shake our heads at the imbecility of celebrities and wag our fingers at their lack of substance. Yet we're simply playing an old game: The 'he looks down on me so I look down on you' game. The poor are ignorant and uneducated (shallow) and the wealthy are educated and refined (deep). Oh, if only that were true.

There are the rich for you: Dripping with cash and not a single brain cell devoted to the business of imagination; Whole lives spent paddling in the shallow end. But let's not damn them for it; It's what they do and they do it well.

What's wrong with being shallow? Shallow people are probably happier than deep thinkers. How simple it is just to skim along the top of life and not get dragged down into the depths: There be despair. It's true we probably need a few eggheads around to show us a way forward every now and then.

So, why ARE some people so shallow? Perhaps it's because they're smart and clever and wise. After all, who said the point of evolution was to increase intelligence. Ignorance is bliss. How true that is. Ms Hilton you are the epitome of bliss and we salute you. At least you don't KNOW you're dumb. The real losers in this life are those who DO know they're dumb but pretend not to be

Still, they are people who are all gift wrap and no gift. I know too many for it not to be true. Even though, I feel self-righteous in labeling them as such.

They are so vapid, void of any content, any substance whatsoever, that it actually becomes "Deep." It's like the Grand Canyon is just a big hole, but people come from all over the world just to stare at it. As if to confirm, "Yep, that's a big hole, alright."

But, in my opinion a shallow person is so because they have decided to be a physical person, instead of a spiritual one. What you see is what you get. The lights are on, but there's nobody home. No toy surprise in that Happy Meal,

Quite often shallow people can be quite selfish, only worried about how they appear to others through their appearance and possessions. They always talk about themselves - Where they've been, What they've done + What they have - a manic merry-go-round of fashion, media and twittering twaddle.

Shallowness reflects insecurity, not happy with who they are, trying to be someone else.

Let like mix with like, although always polite, never can you share your depth with those so shallow.

The measuring device of shallowness is based purely upon relativity. There are no black definitive, categorizing an individual as either shallow or deep. The depth of a person is subjected entirely to their system of beliefs.

A person's belief system is ultimate that which filters out all actions and thoughts, making it the basis for human activity. Stemmed directly from one's beliefs is a person's values. In essence, what a person believes will determine that which they value.

So when questioning whether or not someone is shallow, one must first ask as to what it is they believe.

For example, a person believes that physical image is of greatest importance. From that statement, it goes on to detail that they then value style, hygiene, and physical fitness.

These are all aspects in which are blatantly obvious to the observing world, therefore attesting to their belief that physical image is of greatest importance.

From the values then comes the actions.

When style is valued, then one puts emphasis upon things of an outward nature, along with cleanliness and fitness. To the onlooking world, this can be viewed as being of a shallow nature, for their beliefs do not point to things of more importance.

It is a self-centered belief system. Ones actions cannot stray from their beliefs, as a person will always act in light of their values, whether or not others would consider it valuable.

Therefore, in conclusion, the depth or shallowness of an individual can yet be molded and changed, and one's beliefs are subject to change. Beliefs are not concrete, yet are of utter importance in every thought to every person.

People who call others shallow are generally people to be avoided. What they mean by flinging this accustion is usually something along the lines of "You don't appreciate how deep and meaningful *I* am".

People who proclaim loudly and continuously about how shallow others are usually turn out to be losers, disappointed in life but incapable of working out that it may actually be their own faults that they are unpopular or impoverished. Frequently, the non-shallow require you to prove your own depths by listening to their interminable whining.

You might say I have conducted a subconscious social experiment, but I assure you I never had any intention of doing anything but living.

Two 10-year-old boys have been arrested after gang-raping an 8-year-old girl in broad daylight at a local playground.

The boys, both 10 and said to be best friends, met the girl and her sister one morning at the playground near their local community centre in London.

They took the 8-year-old girl, a friend of theirs, off to a secluded spot and allegedly took turns raping her.

The girl did not sustain any injuries during the assault.

Once she was released, she fled home and told her parents, who promptly alerted police. The boys were arrested later that day.

The attack was also apparently witnessed by the girl’s 6-year-old sister.

After being charged the boys were released on bail back into the custody of their parents whilst investigations continue.

A local politician expressed his shock at the incident:

“I have never heard of two ten-year-olds being accused of raping an eight-year-old girl. It’s just totally shocking.

It’s like the James Bulger case, you can’t believe children of that age would be capable of something like that.”

Recently decisions and choices that i have made a long time ago has start to become questioned
And I realized I'm not the only person
Everyone seems to be under the weather so I decided to help tide everything over

Standing at the tender age of 17, its normal to be confused
Its either too early to be making some decisions or too late
Think of it this way my friends faced with similar melancholy

Whatever decisions you have made in the past has been made
Be it a choice, a promise, an oath to someone important or a beautiful mistake
Whether that decision is right or wrong, suitable or best at that point of time
Its was what you thought was best

Nobody intentionally makes the wrong decisions on purpose!!
If its a mistake and feelings of regret has surfaced to haunt you
Tell yourself this instead of squandering your time in self-pity
What done is done, there's no use crying over spilled milk
Stop questioning life with endless what ifs

I'm sure every night before an individual goes to sleep
Being truly alone and vulnerable to one own thoughts
Think about it in bed? Thinking about how it would be if you went the other way?
If you are going to think anyway, why don;t you think BIG
Realizing that one is better then the latter
You throw yourself into the abyss of your own inability?

Letting one mistake in life decide and pivot your future that's unknown
If you are going to think about anyway, why not think big?
How would you move or proceed with that mistake now?
That may not be the best decisions you have made in your short life
However there are much more things to be done
Many other people worst off
Maybe you were meant to go through all these for a specific reason

Everything happens for a reason, on the road in life later
You might never know when you would need to think back on those experiences
Those mistakes or experiences in life are called dots
And its up to you to connect them one by one

Since you can never foresee the future you can only connect the dots moving backwards
Which means looking back at your past
No matter how inglorious it maybe, how simple a life you have lived compared to others

Its still yours and you have to stick with it
There's no sense in envying others and looking at what others have that you don't
Definitely there are things that you have done that others didn't
Comparing things such as life bring one nowhere
Yes, it may be fun to occupy your mind with these when you are bored

But let me tell you something
Comparing your life with others
After you have done that
What does it bring? Will anything change?
Would you suddenly have that bueatiful face that person has

Cause we are both from Malaysia and we have the exact same birthday !! 10 of Feb
I'm older by 3 hours cause I'm born in the afternoon and she was born in the evening !!

Humans were only able to communicate via face-to-face meetings
If at all possible they would rather meet up than rely on letters

If they were force by external circumstances to convey thought in the written form
They would be sincere in every stroke of the pen
Pouring out their concern and emotions by poetry or short meaningful phrases

Pick up any letter you would sense a mono-toned and uniform thought from the author
That one thought is to get the letter writing over and done with.

Fear of losing something, of being left out, of being alone, of getting no attention
These little fears are what you would find in a new-born baby
The very basic thoughts and instincts for survival
I pity them as they lack the courage to face themselves
I look down on them because they manipulate others to obtain their selfish desires
These are the people who never once thought of others for who they are
They rank and befriend people for what they are worth
Friendships are mere tools in front of them
Everyday items and gestures were seen as a weapon

These devils are fully capable of utilizing those tools and weapons
For their selfish needs
They devise plans and strategies to fully make full use of the above
And shockingly they are efficient workers
Most of the time they get what they want with minimal effort
How? By prying into the kind and relying on human inborn sympathy
By climbing and stepping on top of others
They achieve their goals
They celebrate and laugh at the many stepping stones they trampled upon

Personally, these people does not deserve to be alive
They are the very obstacles that prevent anything to be done right
They are the very ones preventing changes for the better

Went back to school yesterday
Feels nostalgic walking down the same old corridors,fitness corner,hall and canteen
Those good old memories just flooded me
Looking at everyone all growth up and changed
Wished i had more time with them but i have a exam to sit for
And they have their own friends and other obligations
Ahh the wonderful feeling of reunions

Thanks to all the teachers who taught me before
I really appreciate it and continue to nurture the future of the nation
Happy teachers day and thanks for giving me the gift of knowledge

Rushed to take Biochem paper after that
Wanted to skip that paper so much
Should have went out with the rest since its so rare that we meet
The paper was drop dead easy however i didn't study
Leave about 20 marks worth of blanks
Hope i can get a B for overall since my lab reports and class test were mostly 'A's

That aside it seems that i lost all my inspiration for writing poems and short paragraphs
Then i felt sad, I realized that once people are broken in certain ways they, can never be fixed
This is something nobody tells you. You have to observe and care for those close around you
To realize don't ever wait for those things to be told to you
It never fails to surprize me and you can never stop but wonder
When is my turn? Would it happen to the one i love? Or someone close to you?
Wounds heal but scars remain I'll do everything in my power to help
